The Cardinals will be heading to Seattle for an NFC West Thursday night showdown this week. Many are expecting this game to be a bit of a shootout, with an over/under of 57.5. A high scoring game like this doesn’t typically bode well for defenses, so are either of these teams’ D/STs worth starting this week? We break down the fantasy analysis below.

Fantasy Football Analysis: Cardinals D/ST, Seahawks D/ST

The Seattle Seahawks have been a welcomed matchup for opposing offenses this season, as they have been the most generous team to opposing wideouts and quarterbacks. They have allowed an average of 353 passing yards and 95 rushing yards per game so far this season. Seeing as the Cardinals offense is on fire as of late, one shouldn’t expect the Seahawks D/ST to outperform their season average of 1.7 fantasy points per game in Week 11. There are better options out there for you at D/ST.

The Cardinals have fared slightly better than the Seahawks D/ST this season, averaging 4.6 points per game. The Seahawks offense is known to put up points though, which doesn’t bode well for the Cardinals D/ST unit that finished with 0.0 fantasy points in their last matchup in Week 7. As with the Seahawks, there should be a better option out there for you in Week 11.
