How to handle Chris Carson injury in Week 11 fantasy football

Chris Carson is on the Seahawks final injury report for Week 11. We break down what it means for fantasy football roster decisions.

Game status: Chris Carson is INACTIVE for Week 11.

Since being sidelined by a foot injury in late October, Chris Carson’s return to the field has been completely up in the air. On a short week with a divisional matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night, ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted that Carson is “unlikely to play” — though he is officially listed as questionable.

Fantasy impact: Chris Carson (foot injury)

The last time we saw Carson was in the Seahawks’ overtime loss to the Cardinals in Week 7. Since then, due to an injury to second-stringer Carlos Hyde, Seattle had to ride it out with Travis Homer, DeeJay Dallas, and Alex Collins. While Carson is expected to miss this rematch against Arizona, Hyde will be back in the mix.

While opponents tend to get in shootouts with the Cardinals, Russell Wilson and the passing game have been struggling to get back to their early season form. With a healthy Hyde and a banged-up Tyler Lockett (knee), the Seahawks could lean a bit more on the ground game.
