Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott says he is dealing with a tight hamstring, but that it does feel better than what it did before their Week 9 game against the Steelers, per the Dallas Morning News’ Michael Gehlken. He was able to get a full practice in on Wednesday, but still appears to be getting extra attention from the athletic trainer before heading into the main practice on Thursday according to Gehlken.
The fact that the bye week didn’t get him back on track is a little concerning, but he’s still practicing and seems set to play against Minnesota. The absence of Dak Prescott has pushed his production down into a not-normal range for the usual star running back, but he’s still getting the lead work and will get Andy Dalton back this week to help stabilize the offense somewhat. He’s no longer a week winner, but he’s still worth starting.
