The Denver Broncos have dealt with a rash of injuries, and tight end Noah Fant is the latest dealing with a new injury. Fant sat out Wednesday’s Week 11 practice with a rib injury, but was able to return to limited work on Thursday, according to Troy Renck.
Fant previously dealt with an ankle injury that cost him Week 5 and Week 6, but he has played each of the past three weeks. Upgrading from no practice to at least limited is a step in the right direction and fantasy managers can be at least a little optimistic about his availability this weekend.
That being said, he’s struggled to do much of anything after a solid first two games of the season. He opened with five receptions for 81 yards and a score in Week 1 and then four receptions for 57 yards and a score in Week 2. Since then, he has not surpassed 47 receiving yards and has not found the end zone.
The Broncos are a mess right now and his value is extremely limited outside of deeper PPR leagues. He’s got upside, but the floor is significant.
