In a welterweight bout on the preliminary card of UFC 255, Alan Jouban will fight Jared Gooden Saturday in Las Vegas and available on ESPN+.
The 37-year-old Jouban has a professional fighting record of 16-7-1. This is Jouban’s first fight in 2020 after he signed a five-year deal with the UFC in 2019. At UFC 236, which was the last time we saw him compete, “Brahma” lost to Dwight Grant by split decision.
The southpaw lands 4.85 strikes per minute, with a 50 percent accuracy. He also absorbs 3.34 strikes per minute, while his defense is at 61 percent.
As for Gooden, he is coming into the UFC APEX with a professional fighting record of 17-4. The 26-year-old rookie from Atlanta is making his UFC debut on Saturday. “Nite Train” Gooden last fought in July at Titan FC 62, where he defeated Trent McCown in Round 2 by TKO using punches and elbows.
Over his five-year pro career, Gooden has competed at Titan FC, Empire Fighting Championship, Island Fights 60, LFA, National Fighting Championship, Orlando City Fights, and Legacy Fighting Championship.
