In a middleweight bout on the preliminary card of UFC 255, Kyle Daukaus will take on Dustin Stoltzfus Saturday in Las Vegas and available on ESPN+.
The 27-year-old Daukaus has a professional fighting record of 9-1, and this is his second UFC fight in his career. At UFC on ESPN 12 in June, Daukaus lost to Brendan Allen by unanimous decision. His brother Chris is also a part of the UFC roster.
The Philadelphia native previously competed at Cage Fury Fighting Championships, Dana White’s Contender Series, Ring of Combat, Art of War, King of the Cage, and Asylum Fight League. Daukaus lands 3.40 strikes per 15 minutes with an impressive 64 percent accuracy. The 6-foot-3 fighter does a great job defending takedowns at 90 percent and has a submission average of 2.0.
As for Stoltzfus, he is making his UFC debut on Saturday. The 29-year-old comes to the UFC APEX with a professional fighting record of 13-1. The Lancaster, PA native last fought earlier this summer at Dana White’s Contender Series, where he defeated Joseph Pyfer in Round 1 by TKO due to an elbow injury.
Over his pro career, Stoltzfus has fought at the German MMA Championship, We Love MMA, Fair Fighting Championship, and Age of the Cage.
