On most days, a 36-10 victory would correlate with a productive day for the winning team’s running back. Unfortunately for fantasy managers who have stake in James Conner, that was not the case last week. Conner was held to 36 rushing yards and couldn’t find the end zone. Can he turn it around in a Week 11 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars?
Fantasy Football analysis: Steelers RB James Conner
After rushing for more than 100 yards in three of the first five games of the season, James Conner has failed to eclipse even 60 total yards in his last three outings. His performance hasn’t had a noticeable impact on the Steelers’ results, as they’ve continued to keep their undefeated season alive through ten weeks. Regardless of poor showings from the Pittsburgh RB, there is still hope knowing that he was on the field for 88% of the offensive snaps in Week 10. There’s no doubt that Conner is the clear-cut starter, and he is set up (once again) for success against a Jaguars defense that is allowing the fifth-most DKFP per game to opposing running backs.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Don’t turn your back on James Conner just yet. Start him as a low-end RB1 this week.
