It’s a battle of unbeatens in what could be a de-facto Big Ten East championship game as the Indiana Hoosiers take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus on Saturday afternoon.
Indiana has has quickly become one of America’s favorite teams. After knocking off Penn State in Week 1, they just keep on winning. As the season goes on and the Hoosiers vanquished foes keep losing, the wins don’t look as impressive. Still, Ohio State is playing around the same level of competition. The fighting Tom Allen’s are a pass-heavy team. They pass for nearly triple their yards on the ground each game. Michael Penix Jr. became an instant icon with ‘the reach’ against the Nittany Lions, but he’s tossed the ball well too, with over 1,000 yards and nine scores. The team’s red zone offense is concerning though, having only scored touchdowns on 14 of 23 drives inside the 20. They even came away with no points four times.
Ohio State is exactly who you expect them to be. Quarterback Justin Fields has only missed his target 11 times this season, while throwing for over 900 yards and 11 scores in the process. This Hoosiers defense will be its biggest challenge of the season, but they’ll still score a ton of points. It’s hard to slow down an offense as well-rounded as the Buckeyes’

The Best Bet
This game could be dangerous for Indiana because of how little success its had running the ball. Becoming one-dimensional against a team like Ohio State never ends well. Expect the Buckeyes offense to sputter more than usual this week as well because the Hoosiers have a more than solid defensive unit.
Pick: Under 67.5
