After being sidelined for back-to-back weeks, the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide will finally get back to work on Saturday when welcoming the scrappy Kentucky Wildcats to Tuscaloosa.
Before their bye and the postponement of the LSU game due to COVID, Bama was last in action on Halloween where they systematically demolished Mississippi State in a 41-0 shutout. Mac Jones continued to bolster his Heisman candidacy with an efficient night, going 24-of-31 through the air for 291 yards and four touchdowns, all of them to Devonta Smith who stepped in nicely in place of Jaylen Waddle.
Jones has powered an Alabama offense that currently boasts the No. 1 offense in SP+ and is staying ahead of schedule as the fourth-ranked team in offensive success rate.
Kentucky on the other hand is coming off a scare against winless Vanderbilt last week, allowing two late fourth quarter touchdowns against the Commodores but ultimately surviving for a 38-35 win. Led by Chris Rodriguez Jr, the UK running backs dictated the game by combining for 308 yards on 8.8 yards per carry and three touchdowns. Kentucky is 12th in rushing success rate.

The Best Bet
The Alabama offense has been virtually flawless, averaging 47.2 points per game through six contests this season. The UK defense is a top-15 unit in terms of limiting explosive plays this season, but its hard to imagine them slowing the Tide down on the road. Lay it.
Pick: Alabama (-30)
