How public is betting and DFS considerations for Mike Perry vs. Tim Means

In a welterweight bout on the preliminary card for UFC 255, Mike Perry will take on Tim Means Saturday live from Las Vegas and available on ESPN+. Perry missed the cut on Friday, weighing in at 175.5, while Means weighed in at the 171 lb. limit.

The 29-year-old Perry is entering this contest as the favorite, with a professional fighting record of 14-6. “Platinum Perry” last fought at UFC on ESPN 12 in June, where he defeated Mickey Gall in Round 3 by unanimous decision.

Perry averages 4.36 strikes per minute with an accuracy of 48 percent. But he takes a lot of significant strikes in return, absorbing 4.41 per minute, with his defense at 56 percent.

As for Means, he is walking into the UFC APEX as the underdog. The 36-year-old has a professional fighting record of 30-12-1. At UFC Fight 174 in August, “The Dirty Bird” defeated Laureano Staropoli by unanimous decision. The veteran fighter is a competent striker, who already has 19 TKO/KOs under his belt. He lands 4.92 significant strikes per minute with an accuracy of 46 percent. And he absorbs fewer strikes in the octagon than Perry at 3.53 per minute.
