In a preliminary card bout at welterweight for UFC 255, Alan Jouban will take on Jared Gooden Saturday live from Las Vegas and available on ESPN+.

The 37-year-old Jouban is entering the octagon as the overwhelming favorite, despite this being his first fight in 2020. He has a professional fighting record of 16-7-1. The last time Jouban fought, he lost to Dwight Grant by split decision. The southpaw averages 4.85 strikes per 15 minutes, with an accuracy of 50 percent. But he only absorbs 3.34 strikes per minute and defends against them at 61 percent.

As for Gooden, he enters the APEX with a professional fighting record of 17-4. The Atlanta-based fighter is making his rookie debut on Sunday. Before he joined the UFC, “Nite Train” Gooden fought at Titan FC 62 in July. In that bout, Gooden defeated Trent McCown in Round 2 by TKO.
