Update 10:10 a.m.: Matt Fortuna of The Athletic says it was a positive test in the Clemson camp that has caused the disagreement from both programs. Great story here if you’re a subscriber (and you should be!).
Sources: Clemson offered to reschedule today’s game for tomorrow or Monday to placate Florida State’s concerns about playing today, but FSU refused https://t.co/h1bQiYEoz9

Update 9:15 a.m.: Looks like Clemson’s AD isn’t saying what happened here, but appears to not be pleased with the result today.
We are disappointed that we will not be able to play today’s game against Florida State. Clemson has followed all of the ACC's protocol in preparation for this game. We look ahead to returning to action next week against Pitt for Senior Day and Military Appreciation Day. https://t.co/5VJK44iOjL

In the most 2020 of moves we’ve seen so far from a major conference, the Clemson Tigers won’t play the Florida State Seminoles as the game was postponed a little more than three hours before kickoff.
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the Clemson at Florida State football game will be postponed. The game was originally scheduled to be played today, Saturday, Nov. 21 at noon.
The postponement follows this morning’s game conference call at which time both teams’ medical personnel were unable to mutually agree on moving forward with the game. Both teams continue to adhere to the minimum outlined protocols within the ACC Medical Advisory Group report, which is available on theACC.com.
So one set of doctors told the other set of doctors “I don’t believe you?” What in the name of tarnation is happening here? A bit more clarity would be nice??
It’s one thing to cancel a game a couple days ahead of time, but we personally know a few folks on I-75 right now that better be checking their cell phones, because they’re driving to Doak Campbell Stadium for no reason.
FSU was expected to be a 276-point 35-point underdog at home today, so this likely makes little difference in the grand scheme of an eventual ACC Champion. And who knows: It’s very possible Noles head coach Mike Norvell is being done a favor by the team’s medical personnel. Because this was going to be a whipping.
