UFC 255 is live from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The headliner is a flyweight main event between Deiveson Figueiredo and Alex Perez. Unlike the other headliners in recent weeks, Saturday night is for the championship belt held by Figueiredo. There are five fights on the main card, and seven on the preliminary card that starts at 6:30 p.m. ET live on ESPN+.

Winner: Valentina Shevchenko
Winning Method: Valentina Shevchenko wins by unanimous decision over Jennifer Maia (49-46, 49-46, 49-46).
Maia went the distance with “Bullet” Shevchenko, however it wasn’t enough to take the flyweight championship belt from her. Shevchenko had more significant strikes (63-54), and led in fight control 9:34-7:51. The champ also had five of the bout’s six takedowns, and has continued to dominate at 125 lbs.

Mike Perry vs. Tim Means
Winner: Tim Means
Winning Method: Tim Means wins by unanimous decision over Mike Perry (30-27, 29-28, 29-28).
“Dirty Bird” Tim Means outlasts “Platinum” Perry in a bout that went back-and-forth and shot for shot all three rounds.

Winner: Katlyn Chookagian
Winning Method: Katlyn Chookagian wins by unanimous decision over Cynthia Calvillo (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Alan Jouban vs. Jared Gooden

Both Jouban and Gooden went at it for all three rounds in one of the best matches on the preliminary card thus far. Neither fighter was letting up until the final seconds.

Winner: Sasha Palatnikov
Winning Method: Sasha Palatnikov wins by TKO (punches) in Round 3 at 2:47.
Palatnikov got blitzed in Round 1 by Louis Cosce, however he took control and ended the fight with powerful punches. Hell of a performance by the first fighter from Hong Kong to compete at an UFC event.
