UFC 255 is live from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The headliner is a flyweight main event between Deiveson Figueiredo and Alex Perez. Unlike the other headliners in recent weeks, Saturday night is for the championship belt held by Figueiredo. There are five fights on the main card, and seven on the preliminary card that starts at 6:30 p.m. ET live on ESPN+.

“Deus Da Guerra” did not waste any time in the championship bout. All he needed was one submission attempt to keep his belt. Impressive way to end UFC 255.

Winner: Valentina Shevchenko
Winning Method: Valentina Shevchenko wins by unanimous decision over Jennifer Maia (49-46, 49-46, 49-46).
Maia went the distance with “Bullet” Shevchenko, however it wasn’t enough to take the flyweight championship belt from her. Shevchenko had more significant strikes (63-54), and led in fight control 9:34-7:51. The champ also had five of the bout’s six takedowns, and has continued to dominate at 125 lbs.

Mike Perry vs. Tim Means
Winner: Tim Means
Winning Method: Tim Means wins by unanimous decision over Mike Perry (30-27, 29-28, 29-28).
“Dirty Bird” Tim Means outlasts “Platinum” Perry in a bout that went back-and-forth and shot for shot all three rounds.
#2 Katlyn Chookagian vs. #4 Cynthia Calvillo
Winner: Katlyn Chookagian
Winning Method: Katlyn Chookagian wins by unanimous decision over Cynthia Calvillo (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
The Blonde Fighter landed more significant and head shots in this bout, giving her the edge and back in the win column.
#14 Mauricio Rua vs. #15 Paul Craig
Winner: Paul Craig
Winning Method: Paul Craig wins by TKO (punches) in Round 2 at 2:36.
Unlike their first match, which resulted in a draw a year ago. “Bearjew” Craig got the better of “Shogun” Rua to begin the main card.
#6 Brandon Royval vs. #1 Brandon Moreno
Winner: Brandon Moreno
Winning Method: Brandon Moreno wins by TKO (punches) in Round 1 at 4:59.
“The Assassin Baby” holds onto the No. 1 spot in the flyweight rankings after knocking Royval’s shoulder out of its socket.
Joaquin Buckley vs. Jordan Wright
Winner: Joaquin Buckley
Winning Method: Joaquin Buckley wins by KO (punches) in Round 2 at 4:42.
Jordan Wright did not see it coming as “New Mansa” Buckley landed a powerful knockout.
#15 Antonina Shevchenko vs. Ariane Lipski
Winner: Antonina Shevchenko
Winning Method: Antonina Shevchenko wins by TKO in Round 2 at 4:33.
“Pantera” Shevchenko made quick work of Lipski in her fifth-ever UFC match. Now she hopes her little sister can handle her business.
Daniel Rodriguez vs. Nicolas Dalby
Winner: Nicolas Dalby
Winning Method: Nicolas Dalby wins by unanimous decision over Daniel Rodriguez (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)
D-Rod was landing the kicks but the judges felt that Dalby was the more dominant fighter in three-round bout.
Alan Jouban vs. Jared Gooden
Winner: Alan Jouban
Winning Method: Alan Jouban wins by unanimous decision over Jared Gooden (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
Both Jouban and Gooden went at it for all three rounds in one of the best matches on the preliminary card thus far. Neither fighter was letting up until the final seconds.
Kyle Daukaus vs. Dustin Stoltzfus
Winner: Kyle Daukaus
Winning Method: Kyle Daukaus wins by unanimous decision over Dustin Stoltzfus (30-26, 30-27, 30-27)
The Philadelphia native landed 20-plus more significant and head shots over Stoltzfus to capture the W.
Louis Cosce vs. Sasha Palatnikov
Winner: Sasha Palatnikov
Winning Method: Sasha Palatnikov wins by TKO (punches) in Round 3 at 2:47.
Palatnikov got blitzed in Round 1 by Louis Cosce, however he took control and ended the fight with powerful punches. Hell of a performance by the first fighter from Hong Kong to compete at an UFC event.
