Deshaun Watson and the Texans offense had a tough time getting anything going in a low scoring Week 10 loss to the Cleveland Browns. In that game, Watson completed 20 of 30 passes for only 163 yards and one touchdown. He will look to bounce back in Week 11, but may have a tough time doing so against a Patriots defense that has allowed the 5th fewest points to opposing quarterbacks this season. Does he still belong in your starting lineups given his tough matchup? We break down the fantasy analysis below.
Fantasy Football analysis: Texans QB Deshaun Watson
Deshaun Watson is averaging 21.4 points per game this season and will look to get back to his usual level of play against the Patriots in Week 11. He won’t have to contend with the heavy winds that he did last week which should help things go more smoothly for him. The Patriots have several defensive linemen and linebackers on their injury report as of Tuesday and Stephon Gilmore was limited with a knee injury. Keep an eye on these injuries, as any downgrades at these positions would provide a boost to Watson’s value. The Texans will be without David Johnson once again and will likely need to get it done through the air if they want to come out of this one on top. Even with the tough matchup, you shouldn’t doubt your decision to start Deshaun Watson as a QB1 this week.
