There’s a clear favorite among the Cleveland Browns tight ends. And even though Austin Hooper is coming off a game with almost no fantasy football production, he should be back in form this week.
Fantasy Football analysis: Browns TEs Austin Hooper, David Njoku
Hooper had a down game last week. He caught one pass on just two targets, and had a mere 11 yards to show for it. But it was a bad day for anyone who doesn’t run the ball thanks to the weather. That snapped what had been a solid streak for fantasy production where Hooper had been targeted 23 times in three games, with nearly 150 yards and a touchdown during that same span. He should bounce back this week. The Eagles have shown some vulnerability against tight ends, having given up some big games to the position. The Browns don’t pass the ball a lot, but Hooper has been consistently getting looks from his quarterback.
As for Njoku, well, forget it. He had zero targets last week and just three the game before that. He’s not had much to do this season and can be left out of fantasy lineups.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Austin Hooper. Sit David Njoku.
