What to do with Dalton Schultz in Week 11 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Dalton Schultz ahead of the Cowboys Week 11 matchup against the Vikings.

Since the Dallas Cowboys offense went to hell in a hand basket after losing Dak Prescott, one player who has actually done okay when it comes to fantasy football is tight end Dalton Schultz. He makes a decent start at a thin position this week with Andy Dalton set to return and the Cowboys taking on the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz

Schultz had 48 yards last week and 53 the week before that, and these were games with some highly forgettable starting quarterback role players filling in. He’s held onto a consistent role in this offense, despite the unit’s many troubles.

The Vikings are mostly middle of the road when it comes to opposing tight ends. They gave up 39 yards and a touchdown to T.J. Hockenson of the Lions two weeks ago, and 125 yards to the Packers tight ends the week before that. Schultz probably isn’t going to lead the field in fantasy production this week, not even close, but he’s a decent, low-end option in most formats if you’re looking for fill-in help at the position.
