Once again Duke Johnson has the chance to lead the Houston Texans backfield. Hopefully, he can produce at a little better clip than he has over the last two games with David Johnson out of action.
Fantasy Football analysis: Texans RB Duke Johnson Jr.
Duke Johnson had 54 yards on 14 carries last week against New England. The week before that, against the Jaguars, he had just 41 yards on 16 carries. He lost a fumble, but at least he did find the end zone.
This week Houston hosts the Patriots who haven’t allowed a running back to rush for more than 100 yards since Week 7. However, New England did let Bills running backs Zack Moss and Devin Singletary both roll up more than 80 yards each back in Week 8, and Moss scored twice as well. The 49ers had a strong showing against them the game before that. Johnson should be able to post decent enough numbers to be a RB2 this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Duke Johnson.
