Logan Thomas, a college quarterback, has become a small oasis in the fantasy football desert of tight ends. How will he fare this week against the Cincinnati Bengals?
Fantasy Football analysis: Washington TE Logan Thomas
Over the past four games, Thomas has averaged 5 targets, 3.5 receptions, 49 yards and 0.5 touchdowns. That doesn’t look too special, but it’s good enough to make him the No. 7 tight end in PPR formats during that span. Such is the nature of that position this year. As such, Thomas will remain a low-end TE1 until further notice. He has remained on that track with Alex Smith, with whom he connected four times for 66 yards in Week 10. A matchup against the Bengals may boost him this week as Cincy has allowed the second-most points per game to tight ends (16.4). They have also given up six touchdowns to tight ends in their last five games.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
At just $3,300, Thomas looks like a good value pick on DraftKings. No one outside of Travis Kelce is really a safe start at tight end these days, but you should feel content enough about starting Thomas in season-long formats this week.
