What to do with Trey Burton, Mo Alie-Cox in Week 11 fantasy football

There is really nothing easy about using any position group from the Indianapolis Colts when it comes to fantasy football. It’s an offense full of committees. That goes for the tight ends too. But this week it’s at least a little easier; you can save a step and just avoid the team’s tight ends against the Packers.

Fantasy Football analysis: Colts TE Trey Burton, Mo Alie-Cox

With Jack Doyle out of action, Alie-Cox has had a slight edge. Last week, he led Burton in targets, four to three. He came up with three catches and just 19 yards for the effort. Burton had 24 yards on the day. Both players have topped 50 yards in a game just once; Burton was the last to do it back in Week 6. Alie-Cox has more upside as a player, but they’re not getting enough work week to week to justify a spot in fantasy lineups.

The Packers are also pretty tough on tight ends. Only three players at the position have posted more than five points in traditional fantasy formats, and they’ve only given up one touchdown to opposing tight ends all season.
