Fantasy Football analysis: Chiefs WRs Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson
Sammy Watkins has been ruled out for the Sunday night game, giving the Chiefs four healthy wide receivers in Tyreek Hill, Demarcus Robinson, Mercole Hardman and Byron Pringle. This season, Hill has 44 receptions for 650 yards and nine touchdowns. He’s been the Chiefs’ best receiver by far and a fantasy football superstar. In Kansas City’s last two games, Hill has recorded scored 21.8 and 24.1 fantasy points, respectively.
On Sunday, he’ll be facing a Raiders’ defense, which has been notoriously bad at stopping the pass this season. In their Week 5 matchup, Hill recorded three receptions (six targets) for 78 yards. Travis Kelce was the main producer in that loss, but I expect the Chiefs will be primed coming off the bye while the Raiders defense has been in Covid-19 purgatory.
Robinson will be looking to score a touchdown in this third-straight game, while Hardman just returned from the Covid-19 list. Hardman had his biggest game of the year two weeks ago and has topped 48 yards in his last three, but remains a boom or bust option and didn’t get to practice this week. Robinson has shown enough with Watkins out to play him in this matchup, but like Hardman, he’s not a sure thing.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Tyreek Hill as a WR1.
Start Demarcus Robinson as a WR3/4.
Sit Mecole Hardman.
