The Philadelphia Eagles offense is a tough nut to crack this season. They’re not very good, but there is still some decent fantasy football production to be found. One player who should be a decent option at a thin tight end position group this year is Dallas Goedert, but he’s been inconsistent lately.
Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles TE Dallas Goedert
Last week against the Giants, Goedert caught four passes on six targets for just 33 yards. Despite getting more playing time, he was out-produced by teammate Richard Rogers. In the game before that, against Dallas, he had just one catch on one target for 15 yards.
The Eagles play the Browns this week, a team that has shown some vulnerability against tight ends. Last week, Houston’s tight ends had 41 yards and a touchdown. Still, I would play it cautiously with Goedert, making him nothing more than a TE2 this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Dallas Goedert as a TE2 this week.
