The Las Vegas Raiders offense doesn’t always throw the ball a whole lot, but whenever they do, quarterback Derek Carr loves to look for his tight end, Darren Waller. That steady presence in the offense has made Waller a standout at a position where it’s been difficult to find reliable help in fantasy football this season.
Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders TE Darren Waller
Waller led the team in receiving yards last week with 37. He was targeted five times and caught three of them in that game against the Broncos. He had five catches on 10 targets the week before that, finishing with just 22 yards but also a his fourth touchdown of the season.
Only two tight end have topped 50 yards against the Chiefs this season, and Kansas City has only allowed opposing tight ends to score three times. However, back in Week 5 Waller had some success against the Chiefs. He caught five passes on seven targets for 48 yards and a score. He’s too big a part of this offense to leave on the bench. And like most weeks, he’s a solid TE1.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
