When a team has a quarterback that regularly throws for fewer than 200 yards per game, as Derek Carr has now done in the Raiders last three outings, it can be difficult to find fantasy football production from the wide receivers. However, the Raiders are most likely going to have to throw the ball more this week against a high-flying Chiefs team out for some revenge. So what kind of fantasy upside do these three receiver have for Week 11?
Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders WRs Henry Ruggs, Hunter Renfrow, Nelson Agholor
Renfrow, who mostly works out of the slot, has been the most consistent of this trio. He had 30 yards on two catches last week, a game where Carr had just 165 passing yards. The week before that he had 60. Agholor came out of nowhere to look like a No. 1 receiver last month, with a breakout 107-yard, one touchdown day against the Bucs back in Week 7. He had just eight yards on one catch last week.
Ruggs has been an afterthought for most of his last four games. He had 31 yards last week, catching three passes on four targets. That was his best game since Week 7. However, he did have one really good outing this season, back in Week 5 when he caught two passes for 118 yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs.
Renfrow has some upside as a WR4 in this one. The Chiefs gave up 105 yards and a touchdown to Panthers slot receiver Curtis Samuel in their last game. Agholor is a distant fifth option, and despite his big outing last time, Ruggs is just too inconsistent to bank on this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Hunter Renfrow at WR4 and Nelson Agholor as a WR 5. Sit Henry Ruggs.
