The Los Angeles Rams tight end picture is only slightly less confusing than the team’s backfield situation when it comes to fantasy football. However, both Gerald Evertt and Tyler Higbee aren’t doing enough on a regular basis to get much consideration for a tight end role in most lineups. Things are unlikely to get much better this week against an aggressive Buccaneers defense.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs TEs Gerald Everett, Tyler Higbee
Higbee had his second most productive game of the season last week. He caught three passes on six targets for 60 yards, a season high. Everett, meanwhile, caught just two passes on three targets for 27 yards.
The Buccaneers have allowed opposing tight ends to score three times in their last two games, and have allowed six touchdowns to the position this season so far. There aren’t a lot of targets to go around, but Higbee’s edge lately makes him a decent TE2 option this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Tyler Higbee. Sit Gerald Everett.
