What to do with James Robinson in Week 11 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of James Robinson ahead of the Jaguars Week 11 matchup against the Steelers.

The Jacksonville Jaguars offense isn’t much to look at, and it’s only producing 22 points per game. However, the Jags do one one player who’s been a pretty valuable fantasy football asset this season, running back James Robinson. He has a tough matchup this week against the Steelers, but he’s still that rare bird who holds onto his RB1 status despite a pretty tall hill to climb on Sunday.

Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars RB James Robinson

Robinson had 109 yards on 23 carries last week against Green Bay. The week before that he had 99 yards and a touchdown against Houston, and prior to that one, he rolled up 119 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers. And with seven total touchdowns (five rushing, two receiving) he has scoring upside for those weeks where he doesn’t get big yardage.

The Steelers are just three weeks removed from giving up a combined 200 rushing yards and a touchdown to Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins of the Ravens. And while they were able to coral the Bengals’ run game last week, they gave up 57 yards on just nine carries to Tony Pollard of the Cowboys the week before that. Robinson always gets his touches and usually finds a way to turn them into viable fantasy stats.
