Tom Brady is coming off a very productive week, making him especially attractive as a starting quarterback in fantasy football this week. However, you may want to think carefully before putting Touchdown Tom into your lineup this week against the Los Angeles Rams.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs QB Tom Brady
Brady had four touchdowns last week, three passing scores and one rushing, against the Panthers. That was a nice bounce back from his awful outing in the game before that, when he threw for just 209 yards and three interceptions against the Saints.
The Rams defense has been playing pretty well lately. Last week, they kept Russell Wilson from throwing a single touchdown, picking him off twice in the process. They’ve only allowed one passing touchdown in their last three games, and have given up just nine on the season with eight interceptions. Brady puts fantasy owners in a tough spot, because the Bucs are talented enough that he’s a threat to post decent stats against anyone, but there’s a big risk here.
