Game status: Damien Harris is ACTIVE for Week 11.
Game day update: Harris is expected to play, according to Ian Rapoport.
Damien Harris has been on fire lately for the New England Patriots, making him a great running back option in fantasy football. However, this week, Harris is dealing with ankle and chest injuries that have him listed as questionable on the official injury report ahead of a juicy matchup against the Houston Texans.
Fantasy impact: Damien Harris (ankle, chest injuries)
Harris did practice this week, getting in limited sessions every day. There is no indication that he will sit this week, and he’s one of 15 players listed as questionable, which is pretty typical for how the Patriots do approach their weekly injury report.
He’s coming off his third game with 100+ yards, rolling through the Ravens for 121 yards on 22 carries last week. Back in Week 8 he had 102 yards and a touchdown against the Bills. With the Patriots intensely committed to running the ball, he’s been a solid RB2 choice recently. However, there is another complicating factor this week—the anticipated return of Sony Michel. He’s expected to take a backseat to Harris, but don’t be surprised to see him eat into Harris’ workload. Still, Harris is a good play at RB2/3.
