How the public is betting Titans vs. Ravens

Both teams have identical records and haven’t been playing their best football. Let’s take a look at what the betting public is doing with this matchup.

The Tennessee Titans started the season with a 5-0 record but have won just one of their last four games heading into their matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, which are 1-2 in their last two. This is a crucial game for both sides as they look to keep their standing as we get closer to the stretch run of the regular season.

Both teams come in with identical records at 6-3 with the Titans tied with the Indianapolis Colts for first place in the AFC South, while Baltimore is tied for second place in the AFC North with the Cleveland Browns, trailing the 9-0 Pittsburgh Steelers.

So where are sports bettors going as we get closer to game time? Let’s take a look. All odds and info were provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Point spread

As we get closer to game time, the Ravens are coming in as 6.5-point favorites at home, and the bettors are siding with the underdogs in this one. Seventy-four percent of the bets are on the side of the Titans with 79% of the handle as well.

Is the public right? No. I’m siding with the Ravens in this one. Ryan Tannehill has been an efficient quarterback for Tennessee since he took over last season, but he has really struggled over his last four games. He has brought the Titans offense down with him. Baltimore’s offensive attack hasn’t been much to brag about either, but the Ravens will cover this number at home.
