Seattle Seahawks running back Carlos Hyde has played second fiddle to Chris Carson for most of the 2020 season and has seen his role in the offense increase over the last two weeks. He’s gotten most of the work over the last two weeks and could be a desirable waiver wire target ahead of Week 12.
Hyde tallied 29 carries for 147 yards and two scores in his last two games and has sparingly split time with Travis Homer, Bo Scarbroough, and DeeJay Dallas. Peter Carroll expects Carson to be back for Week 12 but it’s unclear whether he’ll assume the workload he had before he suffered hurt his foot against the Arizona Cardinals. Hyde can be a viable play even if he splits touches down the middle with Carson. He is available in 32.7 percent of ESPN leagues and has a chance to retain his fantasy relevance for at least one more game.
