Louisville women’s basketball would like to play your college team on ESPN. Please??

The head coach of a Top 5 women’s basketball needs someone, ANYONE, to play his ladies in two weeks. And he’s not the only one.

In the most 2020 of all things we’ve seen so far, women’s college basketball coach is now trying to schedule games like they’re trying to buy or sell stuff on Craigslist.

Louisville Cardinals head coach Jeff Walz, he of the three Final Four appearances and 359 career wins, is trying to get anyone to play his team at Mohegan Sun on December 4th because originally-scheduled UConn Huskies will be coming out of a Covid-19 quarantine.

The Cards are ranked #5 in the Preseason AP Top 25 poll. A power program in the sport, and they can’t find anyone to play them on national TV. Like... what?

Walz isn’t the only one, as Arizona Wildcats head coach Adia Barnes is in the same boat and in need of opponents.

We’ve got women’s basketball coaches trying to fill in their Division I schedules the same way people use NextDoor when they need to borrow a drill to finish building a dining room table.

So do you have a women’s collegiate basketball hanging in your garage or just sitting out in the shed? Please let one of these coaches know, as they’ll be happy to give you a nice vacation and perhaps some of their fresh-baked cookies if they can borrow it for a day.
