Final injury report
The Ravens-Steelers game was moved from Sunday to Tuesday due to Covid-19 after initially being scheduled for Thanksgiving. Mark Ingram and JK Dobbins are out regardless, but if you have Gus Edwards or James Conner, consider alternatives.
Out: Todd Gurley (knee), Salvon Ahmed (shoulder), Ty Montgomery (hamstring), Tevin Coleman (knee)
Doubtful: N/A
Questionable: Christian McCaffrey (shoulder), Tyler Ervin (wrist/ribs), Dare Ogunbowale (hand), Kalen Ballage (ankle, calf), Giovani Bernard (concussion)
Thursday’s Ravens vs. Steelers Update
The Ravens had four more players and five staff members test positive according to Thursday evening reports. The game was moved from Thursday to Sunday, but is in danger of being postponed again. If it does happen on Sunday, the Ravens will be without J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram, which means Gus Edwards would get the start. If you have him or James Conner, have a contingency plan in case the game gets further postponed between now and Sunday.
Wednesday injury report
The three DNPs all seem out of nowhere. There was no indication coming out of Week 11 that Todd Gurley, Salvon Ahmed, or Gio Bernard was dealing with an injury. The most significant issue without knowing more details is Bernard’s concussion given the nature of the league’s concussion protocol. If he is limited on Thursday, that will be an important step forward. All three are worth watching in a week where a lot of teams might not have a full practice on Thursday due to Thanksgiving.
DNP: Todd Gurley (knee), Salvon Ahmed (shoulder), Gio Bernard (concussion)
Limited: Christian McCaffrey (shoulder), Tyler Ervin (wrist, ribs), Kalen Ballage (ankle, calf), Alvin Kamara (foot), Tevin Coleman (knee)
Full: David Montgomery (concussion)
Dalvin Cook isn’t slowing down, as he hit 160 total yards and found the end one for the 14th time in Week 11. And after Alvin Kamara’s worst PPPR day of the season, Cook has taken over the RB1 crown in fantasy.
Kamara managed to find the end one again, but had zero receptions for the first time in his career. We can thank Taysom Hill for that and until we see otherwise, Kamara’s upside looks like it will take a hit with Hill at the helm.
Ezekiel Elliott had his first 100-yard rushing game of the season, which is astounding compared to seasons past. He also caught a touchdown pass, giving his fantasy backers some hope for a strong finish with Andy Dalton back.
Injury news
Rex Burkhead is done for the season. James White should see a boost in work moving forward.
Christian McCaffrey is still considered week-to-week and doesn’t look great to return against the Vikings at this point.
La’Mical Perine will miss time with a high-ankle sprain. Frank Gore and Ty Johnson should take over as the lead and receiving backs.
D’Andre Swift wouldn’t have practiced Monday if they had practiced and his team plays Thursday. His concussion will likely keep him out again this week.
David Montgomery returned to practice and appears to be on track to face the Packers this week.
Both J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram tested positive for Covid-19 and will be out against the Steelers. Gus Edwards and Justice Hill will pick up the slack.
Bye weeks
There are no teams on a bye this week.
Streaming options
James White, Patriots
With Rex Burkhead out for much of last week, White ended up seeing the most snaps of his season. He also caught 6-of-9 targets for 64 yards and had five rushing attempts for 19 yards. If he can keep getting those kinds of target numbers, he will be a good PPR play moving forward.
Wayne Gallman, Giants
The Giants are coming off their bye week following a win, while the Bengals just the no. 1 overall draft pick in Joe Burrow. Gallman has been good at scoring touchdowns with five over his last four games despite poor efficiency on his touches. This week he’ll face a Bengals team that allows the second worst yards per carry to running backs and there’s a good chance the Giants lead in this one, giving Gallman more attempts.
