Best value lineup strategy for Washington vs. Cowboys Thanksgiving Day Showdown

We go over some ideal value picks for Week 12’s Thanksgiving Day matchup between Washington and the Cowboys.

Best value plays for the Thanksgiving slate

The Washington Football Team and Dallas Cowboys are set to face off in Thursday’s second Thanksgiving game. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on FOX. We’ve identified several interesting DFS value options on DraftKings. Here’s who we think you should keep an eye on.

Dalton Schultz, Cowboys, TE, $3,800

The Cowboys’ passing attack came back to life in Week 11. Andy Dalton didn’t have much passing yardage but threw three touchdown passes. Schultz was one of four Cowboys who tallied at least five targets in the game and has totaled at least four receptions in three of his last four games

Steven Sims Jr., Washington, WR, $3,200

Steven Sims doesn’t play nearly as many snaps as Cam Sims but has two more receptions and three more targets than the starter despite playing four fewer games. Rostering him is a bit of a dart throw but his 83 percent catch rate is promising. He scored his first touchdown of the season in Week 11 and could continue to gain momentum.

Tony Pollard, Cowboys, RB, $4,000

Pollard is still just Ezekiel Elliott’s backup but has started to earn a larger role in the back half of the year. He rushed for a season-high 60 yards and a score on five carries his last time out and has tallied at least nine touches in four of his last 10 games. Other players at this price point aren’t getting that many opportunities to impact games.
