Washington Football Team tight end Logan Thomas had single-digit yardage for the third time this season last time out. What should fantasy owners do with him as they look to set lineups on Thanksgiving Day? Let’s give him a closer look.
Fantasy Football analysis: Washington TE Logan Thomas
In his last game, Thomas caught just two of five targets for six yards in a 20-9 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He was also credited with one rush for two yards. Washington pulled away late and kept the ball on the ground, limiting the passing game.
Thomas is a frustrating tight end option for fantasy owners as sometimes he will have a productive fantasy day, followed by a dud performance like this one, which has been the case among plenty of tight ends this NFL season.
Washington will see the Dallas Cowboys, which are coming off a win over the Minnesota Vikings. In that game, Dallas allowed tight end Kyle Rudolph to record three catches for 28 yards. In addition, Irv Smith Jr. caught two balls for 23 yards. Washington and Dallas met each other on Oct. 25, and Thomas finished with four catches for 60 yards and a touchdown. He reached the 60-yard mark just one other time this season.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Thomas is a mid-tier tight end No. 2 for fantasy purposes against Dallas with boom-or-bust potential on Thanksgiving Day.
