Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is having a down year but notched his first 100-yard game of the season against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11. He’ll look to build on his latest performance in Week 12 against the Washington Football Team but will have to split touches with Tony Pollard.

Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys RBs Ezekiel Elliott, Tony Pollard

Elliott eclipsed 20 carries for the first time since Week 2 on Sunday, which is surprising given that he’s typically among the league leaders in touches. He’s not nearly as involved as he once was in the passing game and Dallas’s weakened offensive line has limited his upside. Pollard has gotten a steady diet of touches in recent weeks and tallied a career-high 60 rushing yards on Sunday on five carries. He should only get touches when Elliott needs a breather.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Elliott over Pollard. The latter is too touchdown dependent for season-long fantasy but could be worth a value play in DFS.
