Gameday update: After falling just short against the Kansas City Chiefs last week, the Las Vegas Raiders get a favorable matchup versus the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. This season, the Falcons’ pass defense has been less than stellar, giving up 11.7 yards per completion (31st in the NFL) and 2.2 passing touchdowns per game. That being said, the Raiders wide receivers Henry Ruggs, Nelson Agholor, and Hunter Renfrow could be in store for huge performances. ESPN projects Ruggs to score 5.0 fantasy points, while Agholor and Renfrow to score 7.7 and 4.9 points.

The Raiders head to Atlanta this weekend, and the Las Vegas wideouts are likely salivating at the thought of their matchup with a weak Falcons secondary. There are lots of mouths to feed in the Raiders offense, including tight end Darren Waller, so will any or all of these receivers have a large enough target share to help lead you to victory? We break down the fantasy analysis below.

Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders WRs Henry Ruggs, Nelson Agholor, Hunter Renfrow

The Falcons have allowed the sixth most fantasy points to opposing wideouts so far this season. Henry Ruggs will hope to capitalize on this favorable matchup, as he has failed to find his footing so far this season. Despite one 19.8 point performance in Week 5, Ruggs has had an underwhelming campaign in 2020, and he is averaging only 6.9 points per game. Ruggs has big play upside and could go off in any game, but taking a gamble on him is too risky at this point due to his inconsistent performances. He can serve as a high-upside desperation flier in the deepest leagues but should remain on the bench in standard leagues.

Nelson Agholor has dusted off the jeers and criticism that were all too familiar in Philadelphia and is a dark horse in Las Vegas this year, averaging 10.4 points per game so far this season. He has had a bit of a roller coaster stat line lately, alternating between great performances and total duds, but a plus matchup bodes well for Agholor this weekend. Carr seems to be growing more and more comfortable looking Agholor’s way, and the two will look to capitalize on that connection this weekend. For that reason, Nelson Agholor deserves consideration as a low end WR3/flex in Week 12.

Hunter Renfrow seems to be Mr. Dependable for Derek Carr, as he catches nearly everything thrown his way. Unfortunately, Carr and the Raiders offense have not relied on Mr. Dependable much this year, as Renfrow has seen a significantly reduced role. His target share is too small to support fantasy relevance and he belongs on the bench this weekend.
