The Friday after Thanksgiving features a ton of college football and college basketball, but this year it also brings us a fun made-for-TV golf event. Phil Mickelson and Charles Barkley team up to face Steph Curry and Peyton Manning in The Match 3, or as it is know by its formal name: Capital One’s The Match: Champions for Change.
The four golfers are raising money for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, playing 18 holes of modified alternate shot match play at Stone Canyon Golf Club in Arizona. The event gets underway at 3 p.m. ET and will air primarily on TNT. Brian Anderson will serve as the event’s host and provide play-by-play. He will be joined by Trevor Immelman and Andre Iguodala in the booth. Cheyenne Woods and Gary McCord will serve as on-course reporters. There will be special guests before and during the event, with Peyton’s brother Eli joining LPGA star Michelle Wie in a pre-match show.
If you can’t watch this event on TV, you have the option to stream the matchup on Watch TNT. If you don’t have cable, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the event.
In addition to TNT, Bleacher Report will be broadcasting live from before and during the event the B/R app. This will include Cart Cam and a variety of other aspects that go above and beyond what TNT will be broadcasting.
