Update 10:37 p.m.: The Ohio State Buckeyes have canceled their game with the Illinois Fighting Illini on Saturday because of a Covid-19 outbreak across the team.

Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day has tested positive for Covid-19.

The Buckeyes will face Illinois tomorrow at 12 p.m. in Champaign, and are 28-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook. Multiple outlets are reporting there are other cases throughout the team as well, but no specifics on who will be and who won’t be playing against the Fighting Illini tomorrow.

Big Ten rules state that if a team’s positivity rate rises above 5%, or the population positivity rate clears 7.5%, team activities will be paused for seven days. But so far it appears the Buckeyes are on schedule to play without any issues.
