Saturday Update — Adams was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Friday but didn’t practice on Thursday. He’s on track to play in Week 12, according to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky. Lazard doesn’t have an injury designation but MVS is listed as questionable because of an Achilles injury,
Which Packers receiver belongs in your fantasy football lineup this week? One name should be obvious. The other two, however, are a little tougher to figure out right now, but there’s one who makes a decent option against the Bears.
Fantasy Football analysis: Packers WRs Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Allen Lazard
Let’s start with the obvious. Adams is a clear No. 1 receiver in the Packers offense as well as fantasy football lineups. He caught seven of eight targets last week against the Colts for 106 yards and a touchdown. That was his fifth straight game where he’s found the end zone and his third out of his last five with 100-plus yards. The Bears have struggled against receivers, especially numbers ones lately, so get Adams into your lineup with confidence.
Lazard played his first game since Week 3 last week, and was a little rusty. He had two catches for 18 yards. Valdes-Scantling was the No. 2 option for Aaron Rodgers, catching three of six targets for 55 yards, but 47 of those yards came on one incredible catch. It’s tough to know whether he or Lazard will get more work this week. One of them will, but I’d lean on MVS this time as a WR3.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Davante Adams as a WR1 and Marquez Valdes-Scantling at WR3. Sit Allen Lazard.
