In a main card bout at featherweight for UFC Fight Night, Spike Carlyle will take on Bill Algeo Saturday live from Las Vegas and available on ESPN+.
The 27-year-old Carlyle enters the octagon as the favorite, despite this being his only third-ever UFC fight. The San Diego native has a professional fighting record of 9-2, with his last fight taking place at UFC on ESPN 9. In that contest, Billy Quarantillo defeated “Alpha Ginger” Carlyle by unanimous decision.
Carlyle will try to win on Saturday using his striking and grappling skills inside the octagon. He averages 3.47 strikes per minute, with a solid accuracy of 60 percent, and takedown average per 15 minutes of 2.74 with 50 percent accuracy.
As for Algeo, he walks into the APEX with a professional fighting record of 13-5. The 31-year-old recently made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 175 in August, losing to Ricardo Lamas by unanimous decision.
“Señor Perfecto” landed an impressive 7.87 strikes per minute with 53 percent accuracy. However, he also took a similar amount of punishment at 7.20 per minute, defending at a 35 percent rate.
Here are the odds and betting splits at DraftKings Sportsbook for Spike Carlyle vs. Bill Algeo at UFC Fight Night on November 28th.

Winning method splits
DraftKings DFS Values
Spike Carlyle: $8,900
Bill Algeo: $7,300
There’s a major DFS price difference in this bout. Carlyle is averaging 81.8 fantasy points through two UFC fights, priced at $7,600 and $7,300 respectively. Meanwhile, “Señor Perfecto” Algeo is only scored 49.5 fantasy points in his lone bout. But I would stay away from this fight as both fighters are still too young in their UFC careers to handicap accurately.
