How and what to watch for Kansas State vs. Baylor

Both Baylor and Kansas State will try to stop the bleeding when facing each other in Waco.

Both the Baylor Bears and the Kansas State Wildcats are begging for the bleeding to stop late in the Big XII season and one of these foes will feel the relief of victory when they square off against each other on Saturday.

Starting the 2020 season 4-1 and in prime position to make the conference title game, KSU has plummeted with three consecutive losses as injuries and COVID have kneecapped the roster. The Wildcats have been torched defensively during the losing streak including last week’s 45-0 loss at Iowa State where they gave up 538 yards on 7.8 yards per play.

Baylor hasn’t caught a break during their five game losing streak but they’ve kept things tight with each of their losses coming within 11 points. Encouraging for the Bears is the rushing attack coming alive for their 24-23 loss to Texas Tech two weeks ago. After weeks of failing to crack 100 yards, Baylor rushers combined for 207 yards and a touchdown.
