Game status: Tua Tagovailoa is INACTIVE for Week 12.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was a limited participant in practice for all three days of work this week. The rookie has a thumb injury and was initially listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report. He is now officially listed as doubtful ahead of this week’s golden opportunity against the New York Jets, suggesting it’s once again time for Fitzmagic.

Fantasy impact: Tua Tagovailoa (Thumb)

Tagovailoa got benched during last week’s game against the Broncos. Before being pulled, he completed just 11 of 20 passes for 83 yards and a touchdown. He also got sacked six times before leaving that game.

Ryan Fitzpatrick will resume starting duties without Tagovailoa. He gives the Dolphins’ offense a little more pop in the passing game. He was under center the last time they played the Jets, and threw three touchdowns and two interceptions. Fitz is a solid starting option in fantasy lineups this week. His presence will also help Miami’s receivers this week.
