We go over who you should start and who you should sit at D/ST for Week 12.

Some D/STs are coming into Week 12 with ideal matchups while others seem likely to underperform. We’ve identified two D/STs who are ideal starters in fantasy football and two who could bust ahead of the action. Let’s go over some of the top options and fades.

D/ST Starts

Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets

New York has the lowest-scoring offense in the NFL and Miami has allowed the fourth-fewest points per game (20.2). The Dolphins have a knack for forcing turnovers lately and held the Jets scoreless earlier this season. Miami is no longer slept on and could score more points an any other D/ST in Week 12.

Cleveland Browns vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Cleveland will be on the road for this game but has an ideal matchup against Mike Glennon in his first NFL start of the season. The 30-year-old journeyman will be up against one of the more dominant defensive fronts in the NFL and could be without star receiver D.J. Chark.

D/ST Sits

Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Bills have been far from elite on offense and will be up against Justin Herbert, who is averaging nearly 300 passing yards per game. His connection with Keenan Allen will make things difficult for Buffalo. The Bills have given up more than 30 points in two straight games.

New England Patriots vs. Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray is recovering from a shoulder injury but it’s hard to say any defense has a good chance of containing him. He’s the highest-scoring quarterback in the NFL by a significant margin and his dual-threat abilities are second to none. If he doesn’t throw the ball well he can rack up yards and scores on the ground.
