What to do with Philip Rivers in Week 12 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Philip Rivers ahead of the Colts Week 12 matchup against the Titans.

Philip Rivers has not been a consistent performer in fantasy football this season. In 10 games, he’s only thrown more than one touchdown in three of those. One of those games came last week against the Packers too. The question now is whether or not he can do it again this week against the Titans.

It’s worth noting he was on the injury report all week with a toe injury, but “looked good” on Friday, according to head coach Frank Reich. He is listed as questionable for Sunday, but should be good to play.

Fantasy Football analysis: Colts QB Philip Rivers

Rivers threw three touchdowns last week, along with 288 yards and one interception. That was his third game with triple scores, something he hadn’t done since the first of the month.

The Titans defense is allowing an average of slightly more than two touchdown passes per game this season so far. This isn’t Rivers’ first time facing Tennessee this season, but in their last tilt, back in Week 10, he threw just one score and 308 yards. Still, he has a good chance for two this week, making him a decent low-end starting QB in fantasy.
