Every week we try to decipher each of the Indianapolis Colts skill player position groups. It’s a rotating cast of above average fantasy football production, and the tight ends are no different.
Fantasy Football analysis: Colts TEs Trey Burton, Jack Doyle, Mo Alie-Cox
Burton was the best of the bunch last week against the Packers, posting a touchdown and 25 yards on two catches. He was targeted five times, which led the this group too. Doyle also scored, after sitting out the Week 10 game, but he had just six yards on one catch to go with it. However, it was the third time in his last four games that he found the end zone. But is it worth putting him in your lineup on the off chance he might score? I wouldn’t. Alie-Cox had less than 20 yards for the second game in a row.
Burton makes a decent play as a TE3, but not one without the risk he’ll come up with nothing. The other two you can avoid.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Trey Burton. Sit Mo Alie-Cox and Jack Doyle.
