Green Bay Packers tight end Robert Tonyan played his best game in awhile last week against the Colts. And it could have been even better had only Aaron Rodgers seen a wide open Tonyan waving his arms in the end zone on the team’s final offensive play of regulation.
Fantasy Football analysis: Packers TE Robert Tonyan
Tonyan had five catches on five targets last week for 44 yards last week. He also had one touchdown, and could have had two. The yardage total represents his best output since Week 8 when he had 79 against Minnesota. However, he’s a pretty consistent part of the offense and a key red zone target.
The Bears, who the Packer face this week, have been burned by tight end lately. They’ve given up three touchdowns to the position in their last three games and seen two players go for more than 50 yards in that span.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Robert Tonyan as a TE2.
