Raise your hand if you completely forgot that Mike Glennon was, somehow, still in the NFL. I did. But the Jacksonville Jaguars never met a bad quarterback they weren’t willing to make their starter, which is exactly what Glennon will be this week against the Browns.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars QB Mike Glennon
Glennon replaces rookie Jake Luton, the seventh-round pick, who replaced Gardner Minshew. Luton’s four-pick outing last week got him exiled back to the bench.
The Browns are capable of punishing opposing quarterbacks. They picked off Carson Wentz twice last week, and only one signal caller has had more than 20 points against them since Week 4. Glennon got in 10 passing attempts last season with the Raiders and 21 the year before with the Cardinals. He’s nothing more than a sacrificial lamb against Cleveland this week. Do not put him in your fantasy lineup, no matter what. He’ll also be short DJ Chark and Chris Conley, both ruled out Friday, further limiting his pool of weapons.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Mike Glennon.
