What happened to Tom Brady? That’s a huge question beyond the scope of this post, but we do know that he had another bad game last week, coughing up two interceptions and struggling to complete passes against the Rams. This week, he’s got another tough matchup with the Bucs at home against the Chiefs. Kansas City hasn’t been quite as difficult for opposing quarterbacks as the Rams, so can Brady bounce back to be a decent fantasy option this week?
Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs QB Tom Brady
After the two he threw against the Rams, Brady now has five interceptions in his last three games. He’s looked confused in those outings — like he forgot how to read a defense. It’s not as though the Bucs don’t have plenty of talent around him. Downfield throws? Forget about it. He’s not making them right now.
The Chiefs have allowed five touchdown passes by opposing signal callers in their last two, including three from Derek Carr last week. It’s not a bad matchup for Brady, who is probably a high-ceiling QB2 this week. However, he is on a short leash for regular fantasy usefulness.
