In normal years, Mike Evans would be an easy weekly pick for a WR1 spot in any fantasy lineup, but this is not a normal year in Tampa Bay. Evans’ fantasy football value is now tied directly to his scoring potential, which is still keeping him relevant as a WR2. As for Scotty Miller, the Buccaneers’ surprise breakout player is now an afterthought. So what about this week against the Chiefs?
Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs WRs Mike Evans, Scotty Miller
Evans has scored in three of his last four games. He now has a respectable nine touchdowns on the season, the most he’s had since 2016. Sure, he should be more than just a red zone threat, but there’s real value in that, and he has the chance to add to his totals this week against a Chiefs defense that’s allowed receivers to score twice in their last two games.
Miller is the odd man out lately. He’s caught just four passes in his last four games, getting blanked last week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Mike Evans. Sit Scotty Miller.
