How the public is betting Sunday’s ranked college basketball games

We break down betting splits for college basketball’s November 29th slate.

The college basketball season wraps up its first weekend of action with eight teams in action wrapping up some early season tournaments. No. 10 Kentucky faces Richmond on ESPN in the finals of the Bluegrass Showcase, while No. 14 Texas Tech faces No. 17 Houston on ESPN 2 in the Southwest Showcase finals. No. 2 Baylor is the highest ranked team in action, facing off against unranked Washington.

In the one matchup of two ranked teams, Texas Tech is a 2.5 point favorite. An overwhelming number of bettors are backing the Red Raiders. 81 percent of bettors and 87 percent of handle is on Texas Tech.

No. 18 Arizona State is the biggest favorite, laying 35 points against Houston Baptist. The moneyline odds are off the board, and the splits for the spread favor the Sun Devils by two-thirds.

The biggest ranked point spread split headed into Sunday’s slate has No. 11 Creighton getting 93 percent of handle and 87 percent of bets against North Dakota State. Meanwhile, Kentucky vs. Richmond offers the most intriguing split. 82 percent of total bets are on Kentucky, but 51 percent of the money bet is on Richmond. The spread is 8 points headed into that matchup.
