The Buffalo Bills may have dodged a bullet on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. Quarterback Josh Allen went down late in the second quarter after twisting his right knee. He struggled to get up, but he was able to eventually walk off the field under his own power.

Backup quarterback Matt Barkley replaced Allen for a play and was sacked for a seven-yard loss. The Bills then called a timeout and Allen returned to the game. A false start and 1-yard pass to Devin Singletary later and the Bills settled for a field goal just before the two-minute warning. The Bills took a 17-6 lead with the field goal.

Allen is 9 of 13 for 63 yards and a touchdown. He also has 15 yards on four rushing attempts.
